0.1.1 Changelog


Also, I'm using version numbering now because I think the last update probably constitutes a 0.1 as securing the games core mechanics.

Anyway, two in one day! I do spoil you.

With this update, I bring you proper hitboxes, a crosshair, and lag compensation. Full changelog:

  • Player capsule is now only used for collision. Added proper hitboxes for bullets, which are just the cubes that make up the current placeholder player model.
  • Crosshair! There's not much to this, but somebody asked for it and here it is. (thank you Cheesejam)
  • Lag compensation. This was actually surprisingly pretty simple to implement as I just hooked it into the pre-existing client prediction system since that already stores a buffer of player states.
  • You can now toggle the FPS counter using the F key, which also includes network info.
